Australian 3D printing company Titomic is commercializing “Titomic Kinetic Fusion,” a CSIRO-patented additive manufacturing process for titanium alloys. Based on traditional cold spray technologies, the new 3D printing process can print on a 9 x 3 x 1.5 meter scale. Cold spray technology is not uncommon in the manufacturing world, as it is frequently used as a way to coat or repair parts.
